Christy’s Editorial was founded in 1969 by two brothers Dick and Dan Christy and has been family owned and operated ever since. Since first supplying splicing and repair products, not to mention uprights flatbeds and synchronizers, our company has evolved with the motion picture and television industries, launching our Digital Division in 1991 and expanding our facilities to accommodate fully serviced 24 hr edit bays in 1997.
Our Management Staff
We are extreeeeeeeeemely picky about who gets to join our crew. It goes without saying that training and experience are incredibly important to us, and personality is an absolute dealbreaker. Everyone on our staff knows his AND her stuff, is super easy to work with, and just totally gets it. You won’t ever have to explain yourself twice. Isn’t that nice to know?
If you don’t have a space and need one to rent, we’re all set up for you. Our 23,000 sq ft Burbank campus is equipped with 15 edit bays, multiple bull pens and open creative space, all wired with the newest advances in shared storage.
